Assistant Majority Floor Leader Randy Richardville, R-Monroe, wants to help school districts that have mobile home parks by sponsoring a group of bills to give more money to the schools their children attend, the township and the county.
Richardville said that many mobile home residents feel their complaints are not being addressed.
Richardville explained that residents are getting a better deal even though their fees would increase with his bills.

HB 5205 was introduced by Rep. Randy Richardville (R-Monroe), the House Majority Floor Leader, in October.
Before crafting the legislation, several members of Richardville's staff were treated to an acupuncture session delivered by an advocacy group at the state capitol in Lansing.

Before breaking for summer recess, Rep. Randy Richardville, R-Monroe, proposed to expand the state’s MIChild insurance program to include a family of four earning up to $42,000 a year.
The program began last fall after Congress allocated money to states as part of the Children’s Health Initiative Program to help families that make too much money to be eligible for Medicaid, but not enough to buy their own insurance.
Richardville’s proposal would raise that to 250 percent above the poverty level.
