  Sklars | One Trick Pony
Randy: We opened up for him at the show and afterward we went out with him and said, "Listen, we're thinking about going to law school or doing comedy, and, quite honestly, we want to do comedy." We picked his brain on if he thought if we even had a shot.
Randy: It was a very exciting time for comedy when we got into New York because it was after the big comedy boom of the late 80's and early 90's.
Randy: What I say to young comedians is watch the comedy that you love the most, study it, and figure out why it's funny to you.

So Randy and Jason did what any kids would do to give their parents heart attacks; they ripped up their acceptance letters to law school and headed to Manhattan to pursue comedy.
For example, in one of the Sklars' bits, they read a list of Passover phrases that could be used as euphemisms for having sex, e.g."hiding the afikomen." The Seder plate alone provides ample opportunity for innuendo, but since this is a family site, we leave the shank bone behind.
A minority of people make their living doing it." For now, the Sklars are part of that minority, and I don't see any reason why those calls won't keep coming in.
