Stonehill's first album, Born Twice was released in 1971, with financial help from Pat Boone.

In 1976 I had no idea who Randy Stonehill was, and thankfully when I started getting into (ick) Christian music in the early 1980's (a time when quality and "religious" music were seldom used together in the same sentence), Randy's album was still in print.
Randy's contribution to the second volume is a live set of Larry Norman covers, which are very well done.

I have a tape of it and it's pretty much pop/rock and ballads with Randy at his best doing both love songs and trademark "funny songs"; nothing overtly "religious" though.
