The company expanded, and Randy was soon contributing his voice and production skills to daily features, weekly shows and special programs that were broadcast on hundreds of radio stations of all formats via the CBS radio network and by direct syndication.
Randy is an avid collector of vintage broadcasting microphones, and is particularly sentimental over having recently acquired the personal archives and memorabilia of his early mentor, the late Johnny Olson, from John's surviving family.
Randy has said that there is a “cosmic symmetry” from Johnny having been his teacher, to his being entrusted with Johnny’s most prized personal possessions, to his standing at Johnny Olson’s original podium as the announcer of CBS-TV’s “The Price Is Right”;.

 Hit Man
*...Randy West, the final champion on Hit Man, went on to announce several game shows including Supermarket Sweep and FAM's interactive titles from 1993-95?
In addition to Hit Man, West was also a contestant on 8 other shows including Press Your Luck, All Star Blitz, To Tell the Truth, and Face the Music.

On the other hand, the 405 south was clogged as well as the 101 west was jammed.
And pretty much everybody from the L.A. area who was a game show fan or had some tie to the classic genre was there...Everybody from the authors of the "Encyclopedia of TV Game Shows" to Randy West to Bob Boden to the rest of the game show gang was there.
Yet again, it proves that I can actually deal with the craziness of West Hollywood when I don't have to do the driving and when I'm go down there with a good group of friends.
