	Ranger (Babylon 5) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		A Ranger (Minbari: Anla'Shok) is a fictional class of warrior that plays a prominent part of the science fiction television series, Babylon 5.
		The Anla'Shok (Rangers) were organized by the Minbari for the purposes of providing a dedicated fighting force specifically for the prophesied second Shadow War that the cultural hero Valen warned would occur in the future.
		After the resolution of the conflict, the Rangers became a prominent peacekeeping force in known space and would still be existent one million years in the future after the humans and probably the Minbari became beings like the First Ones.

		I agree, Babylon 5 has yet to be surpased in the realm of Sci Fi, Battle Star Galattica is very good, but it isn't as good as Babylon 5.
		Babylon 5 had everything good storytelling should as well as good science fiction.
		Babylon 5 was awesome, the only series I know of that had one writer for its entire run (J. Michael Straczynski) and not a team of writers, that was a monumental task in itself.

		If you remember in the early episodes of the Fourth Season, the 5 mile long Starcruisers are seen as tiny marks in front of the huge Mothership.
		As you see, the Star Dreadnaughts are just a smidgen compared to Babylon 5 (And Bab 5 is about 7 or 8 km long\5 miles long) so that makes the Star dreadnaughts a lot smaller than 4 or 5 km.
