		Indiana, which wasn't ranked in the preseason poll, beat Connecticut 68-61 in the other game at The Classic on Friday night and was 22nd in the first poll of the regular season, knocking out Marquette before the Golden Eagles even played.
		Clemson hasn't been ranked this high since the 1987 team, which featured NBA star Horace Grant, was 10th for two weeks.
		Indiana, which started three freshmen against Connecticut, was ranked in last year's preseason and first regular-season polls before dropping out for the rest of the season.

	Record: WUSTL ranked 12th in best value by U.S. News
		Washington University — consistently ranked among America's 20 best national universities — is now ranked 12th in the best value category, titled "Great schools, great prices," an increase of two spots from last year, according to new undergraduate rankings released by U.S. News and World Report magazine.
		The U.S. News undergraduate rankings are derived from peer assessments by university chief executive officers, provosts and admissions deans, as well as from data gathered from each institution.
		It is an increase from the Olin School's ranking of 14th a year ago.

	Master of Public Health Program ranked 12th in nation
		The highest score received in the rankings of 44 institutions was a 3.8, which went to Tufts University School of Medicine.
		The ranking was computed in January of the year cited, based on data from a survey sent out in the fall of the previous year.
		Tom Valente, director of the MPH program, noted that his program was ranked in the top quartile despite being only five years old, and, at the time of the survey, not yet accredited.

		The American Universities Admission Program released their 2003 rankings of U.S. Legus Magister/Master of Law Programs yesterday, ranking UC Berkeley's Boalt Hall School of Law 12th.
		The rankings, published annually, are created with input from university professors and a panel of international law offices.
		Legus Magister is a law diploma approved by the American Bar Association and open to foreign students who already have obtained a law degree in their own country.

		The April 5 University Times reported that the University of Pittsburgh School of Law's health law program "was ranked 12th of 13 listed" by U.S. News.
		Of those, according to those at U.S. News who performed the rankings, "between 50 and 65 schools" received at least one vote from the approximately 150 law professors chosen at random from all professors who teach health law.
