While the city with the famous arch ranks 371st in safety as the country's most dangerous city, Detroit, Mich. trailed behind at 370.
Pittsburgh is listed at 307, which makes it the country's 64th most dangerous city.

In new rankings this year, the IU School of Nursing was tied for 15th and three of its specialty areas were ranked in the top 10.
It was the first new ranking of the MFA program since 1997, when it placed in a tie for sixth.
The Kelley School of Business was ranked 23rd, compared with 21st last year, and the School of Law at IU Bloomington was tied for 38th, compared with 39th last year.

Zambia, ranked 64th in the world and 10th in Africa last month, has dropped to 72nd place in the world and 14th in Africa, according to September rankings.
Apart from being largely inactive since the August rankings, Zambia has lost 4-3 to Malawi on post-match penalties after a 1-1 draw in the quarter-finals of the Cosafa Castle Cup.
Other teams in the top 10 of the African bracket are Zimbabwe, Congo DR and Côte d'Ivoire who are, however, ranked 42nd, 50th and 61st in the world respectively.

In the field of effectiveness and impartiality of judicial decision-making, Bulgaria ranked 78th, in the fight against organised crime it ranked 93rd, in clientelism 87th, and property rights protection, 92nd.
"The rankings are based on an extensive survey carried out by the WEF in more than 100 countries," members of the WEF said in a media statement.
