Whereas the hot rods of yesteryear were primarily bare bones roadsters and coupes hopped up in their owners’ backyards and garages using whatever parts were readily available along with a bit of ingenuity and a great deal of personal creativity, many of today’s hot rods are professionally assembled in state-of-the-art facilities.
