After a disappointing loss to Kazakhstan, Canada’s Conrad Leinemann (Kelowna, BC) and Rich Van Huizen (Langley, BC) kept their hopes alive when they defeated Puerto Rico’s Ramon Hernandez and Raul Papaleo 21-15, 21-15.
However, Mark Heese (Toronto, ON) and Ahren Cadieux (Toronto, ON) and Darren Goss (Victoria, BC) and Domingo Miguel (Victoria, BC) did not have the best of days dropping there second as well and finishing the event in 25th spot.
