 | | Raybon Kan, fresh from comedy festivals in Montreal and Melbourne, has written another book. |
 | | No matter how much Kan says he has tweaked, polished or digitally restored these pieces, they all read like stock 1,200-word “humour” columnist articles that seem to be aimed at the lowest common denominator. |
 | | He’s a better stand-up comedian than he is a comedy writer, although the benefits of writing for the lowest common denominator mean that there’s generally something in any of his articles that might elicit a snigger, or, heaven forbid, a chuckle from any reader. |
