Also I really felt like Bill Maher had to hold back because he was on network Television.
The idea that now Bill Maher gets to have what guests he wants is great and to have some of them as semi-regular guests is a great consistency.
Honestly I really can't say enough about this show because during the week leading up to Friday and there is big news I just can't wait to see what Bill Maher and his guests are going to say.

I jsut can't STAND in a discussion when folks get 'personal'...her 'my stepson' remark was the time to say....oh, I apologize, sorry to hear that this is an emotional issue for you...it is hard to have clear judgement when family lives are at stake...unfortunately the facts of the situation reflect....the war is a big mess.
What a crock...she was I felt like writing Bill Maher, and asking him not to bring on anymore of these GOP Barbie and Ken dolls, but some policy analysts who are hawks...but that was disgraceful how that woman behaved...and her voice was shrill like a Mattel doll as well.

And Bill finally is learning to actually moderate discussions, keeping his guests on point some of the time (but you could start a Seconds-to-Saddam drinking game, waiting for the first bizarre linking of any random issue to Iraq; this week it took 4 minutes to compare Martha Stewart to our favorite deposed dictator).
To be sure, sometimes Bill just likes to hear himself talk...however stultifying they found him, they could at least pretend to be engaged for the sake of us poor viewers.
