Every movie Alfred Hitchcock made is a masterpiece in its own way, but "Rebecca" is the masterpiece of his masterpieces.

I vaguely remember the original "Rollerball." I think it was the first movie that introduced me to violence, and it was pretty mild by today’s standard.
It wasn’t that great of a movie, as I recall, but it had its moments, especially the simplicity of the game – played on a circular track, well, it was easy to follow the action.

It's a great movie, one of my all-time favourites, and you should watch it, even if only so you'll always be able to answer the trivia question "who played Rebecca in Rebecca."
Hitch is really good at using light and music to define every mood and moment, and he loves to focus on the eyes.
It's a good movie and Fontaine could not have done better at playing modest and fearful, but Anderson is wonderful as Danvers.
