	Relativity and GPS
		The special theory, in addition to claiming the frequency received is a function of the relative velocity, also claims that the speed of light is isotropic relative to the (observer) receiver; and the GPS system uses the earth-centered non-rotating frame and also assumes the speed of light is isotropic in that frame.
		In addition, the velocity effects were also inconsistent with the special theory in that they depended on the velocity relative to the earth-centered frame rather than the velocity of the receiver relative to the source, as the special theory predicted.
		The effect of velocity on the rate at which clocks run is not consistent with the special-theory predictions that it should be a function of relative velocity between source and receiver.
