		Cutler created and runs the British independent record label Recommended Records, is the editor of the music magazine unFILEd, and has written a collection of essays on music, including a book on the political theory of contemporary music.
		Their music was uncompromising and this eventually put them at odds with the mainstream music business, forcing the band to do everything themselves: from recording, manufacturing and releasing their own albums, to organising their own tours and being their own management and agency.
		Recommended Records always placed the musicians first and profits second, and as a result experienced financial difficulties from time to time – but it has kept going for over 25 years, and has been one of Cutler's great success stories.

		Recorded January 29, 1972, just before Steve Miller decided it was time to abandon his musical roots to record musical drivel the kids would buy.
		This recording has good low end (seems to be often missing these days), crisp highs, great vocal sound (Jann deserves much of the credit), and simply excellent quality instrument recording across the board.
