The Red Book of Westmarch is a fine and noble tome, written by the noble Bilbo and Frodo Baggins and annotated by their heirs.
The Red Book was given to Sam's daughter, Elanor and the original is still kept by her family, the Fairbairns of Westmarch.
It is an exact copy in all details of the Thain’s Book in Minas Tirith, which in turn was a copy of the Red Book of the Periannath (the southern term for Hobbits), and was brought to King Elessar by the Thain Peregrin when he retired to Gondor.

Red Book of Westmarch - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium, the Red Book of Westmarch (sometimes Red Book of the Periannath, and The Downfall of the Lord of the Rings, also known as the Thain's Book after its principal version) is the book in which the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings were written.
The Red Book was written by the Hobbit Bilbo Baggins and his heir Frodo Baggins, and contained both their adventures, as well as a lot of background information which the Bagginses collected.
The book was left in the possession of Sam Gamgee's eldest daughter, Elanor Fairbairn, and her descendants (the Fairbairns of the Towers or Wardens of Westmarch).

Red Book of Westmarch - The Lord of the Rings Wiki
The Red Book of Westmarch is a red-leather bound book written by the Hobbit Bilbo Baggins and his heir Frodo Baggins, and contained both their adventures, as well as a lot of background information which the Bagginses collected.
In the first edition of The Fellowship of the Ring, Tolkien's foreword claimed he had translated the Red Book from the original Westron into English, and it therefore must be supposed that copies of the book survived through several Ages.
The "original" version of the Red Book contained the story of Bilbo's journey as it originally stood in the first edition of the Hobbit: thus, Gollum willingly gives the One Ring to Bilbo, and there is no trace of the Ring's hold over Gollum.

Encyclopedia of Arda: Red Book of Westmarch
In origin the diary and commentaries of Bilbo Baggins, with additions by his heir Frodo and by Samwise Gamgee, the Red Book was the original source for the tales we know as The Silmarillion, The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.
The first definite mention of the Red Book is in the Prologue to The Lord of the Rings, which states that Bilbo took it with him when he left the Shire in III 3001.
We know that the Red Book survived at least until IV 172, because a Gondorian scribe named Findegil completed a copy of it in that year (this is, incidentally, the last definitely dated event anywhere in Tolkien's work).
