The red-eye effect in photography is the common appearance of red eyes on photographs taken with a photographic flash.

For "Red Eye" to truly succeed, it needs two actors that the camera can be alone with, relying on the performers to create tension in tight spaces and initial chemistry to set the plot in motion.
Truth be told, "Red Eye" isn't for every taste; those with an obsession for reality in their thrillers will be pulling their hair out over some the whoppers Craven and screenwriter Carl Ellsworth put up on the screen.

Reviews: Red Eye - Christianity Today Movies
Red Eye is a bit of a departure for director Wes Craven, whose films tend to be of the mad slasher variety (the Scream movies, Nightmare on Elm Street).
In Red Eye, Craven moves to a more mainstream thriller, and his protagonist, Lisa Reisert (Rachel McAdams of Mean Girls, The Notebook and Wedding Crashers), is a woman who can take care of business.
The whole point of Red Eye is to give Rippner a chance to behave abominably so that the audience can hope for his demise.

The fl-rumped and common waxbills are more difficult to distinguish for beginners because they both have red beaks and red eye-stripes - and it doesn't help when, as often happens, articles published in bird journals that pertain to either of these species are accompanied with photographs of the wrong bird.
Seen from the front, the common waxbill also possesses a beautiful scarlet or rose red color down the centre of its belly.
The fl-rumped waxbill has a generally grayish or pinkish plumage and a rosy red patch in front of the vent which, in some individuals, may spread up from the lower belly to the lower breast and may even, occasionally, reach up as far as the upper breast, flanks and sides of the breast.

However, Professor Fisher’s proposal also poses a potential danger to privacy comparable to Sauron’s Red Eye and this is why we would be better off using levies instead of the system proposed by Professor Fisher.
