Reebok is in the process of being acquired by the German footwear giant Adidas.
Reebok surged in popularity in 1982 after the introduction of the Freestyle athletic shoe, which was specifically designed for women and came out when the aerobics fitness craze started.
Reebok continues to produce the Freestyle to this day as it is popular with cheerleading, aerobic dancing, the gym, and dedicated consumers.

The Reebok Stadium is the home stadium of Bolton Wanderers F.C., and is located on the Middlebrook retail park in Horwich, near Bolton.
It is a modern, all seater stadium with a capacity of 28,000 which was completed in 1997, replacing the club's old ground, Burnden Park.
This was partly due to the new stadium being built out-of-town, and partly due to sentimental attachment to the old stadium and its history.

The stadium is approximatly 400 yards across the road (about 10 mins walk).
Many of the watering-holes in direct proximity to the ground are part of national franchised chains and lack any real character, but you are assured that if you've visted one of the chain in the past you know what to expect.

Sounds like an interesting night -it is a shme that tickets haven't sold well for the Reebok stadium - it is perhaps because it is one of the windiest and coldest in the country.
As for little football ever being played there -well to some that may be so -but I do believe my beloved team did finish in the top half of the table last season -and came very close to getting a place in Europe.
It is a pity more tickets weren't sold - the six concerts that were staged drew a total crowd of just over 10,000, but they have vowed to do the same again next year.
