	Region 4 Hockey Council
		The Region 4 Hockey Council is made up of teams distributed within certain high school boundaries.
		Region 4 news and reports from Age Level Directors and Executive Committe Members will be posted in this section.
		Both Region 4 Hockey Council member clubs and WAHA Region 4 clubs that are not members of the Region 4 League should report their game results and game misconducts here.

	Region 4 Strategic Planning
		The primary responsibility of the Region 4 Delegate/Director (delegate means that this person is directly elected by IEEE membership) is to manage the operation of the Region to best serve the needs of the membership.
		Region 4 Bylaws supplement the IEEE Bylaws by formalizing certain Region 4 activities that are not specifically addressed in the Institute Bylaws.
		The Excom and Region 4 Committee are defined in Appendix B of the Region 4 bylaws.

	Region 4 - Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks
		Region 4 is made up of 12.5 counties in north central Montana with a combined area of 30,677 sq.
		Region 4 has 63 Fishing Access Sites, 133 lakes and reservoirs totaling over 61,000 acres; 3,700 miles of fishable running water; two managed recreation corridors – the Smith and Missouri Rivers; and 17 reservoirs with over 5,000 acre-feet of storage capacity.
		The Region contains the “Rocky Mountain East Front” one of the richest wildlife areas in the U.S. Region 4 monitors four Conservation Easements: Bay Ranch, Paul and Helen Edwards, Harris Land and Cattle, and the Lewis and Clark Heritage Greenway.

	Region 4 Championship
		The American Model Yachting Association, the CR 914 class and the Mid-Missouri Model Sailing Club cordially invite you to enter the 2003 Region 4 CR 914 Championship Regatta to be held in Columbia, Missouri on Saturday and Sunday, June 7-8, 2003.
		AMYA Region 4 currently has active CR 914 fleets racing in only mid-Missouri and Chicago (where there are two fleets, at Lake Basswood and Lake Oswego).
		Thus the 2003 Region 4 Championship looks like it will be the initial event in a new "Midwest CR 914 Regatta Circuit" that will get in full swing next year.

	Southeast Region -- US Fish and Wildlife Service
		On October 3, 2006, more than 31,000 artificially cultured plicate rocksnails (Leptoxis plicata- endangered) were released into the Locust Fork of the Black Warrior River near Birmingham, Alabama.
		The beetle is only known to live in Beaver Cave, a limestone cave located in the Bluegrass Region of central Kentucky.
		First discovered in the cave in 1966, the beetle is a small (8 millimeters in length -- about one-third of an inch), eyeless, predatory insect that feeds upon small cave invertebrates such as spiders, mites, springtails, and millipedes.
