 | | This album, their first of four relatively consistent discs issued during their brief tenure, was initially released under the band name Zeitgeist, but a legal dispute with another band led to a switch to the Reivers. |
 | | John Croslin and Kim Longacre's shared vocal duties, particularly on the duets, helped distinguish the Reivers from some of the more staid artists of their ilk, at times making them come across like jangle-pop's answer to X. Tunes like "Things Don't Change," "Araby," and the title track are entrancing guitar jangle at its best. |
 | | Their middle two albums, while still fine, had a little less edge to them, but make for great listening nonetheless (and were subsequently reissued with improved sound and bonus tracks). |
