	Renault 5 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		The Renault 5 was a supermini produced by the French manufacturer Renault in two generations between 1972 and 1996.
		The original 5 was Renault's first foray into the supermini market, and its most prominent feature was its styling by Michel Boue (who died before the car's release), which included the steeply sloping rear hatchback, and front end.
		The Renault 5 GTX was another but rarer high-performance model, using the 106bhp 1.7 litre engine taken from the Renault 19 (while this was fourteen less bhp than the Turbo, the GTX produced higher torque).

		A renault dealer stated "they all do it, and it is not a problem"
		It seems to me (from rfenby's post) that if the idle speed control motor is making a lot of noise (which sounds just like the starter) and the idle speed is also wrong, then that bit would be a good bit to replace.
