Render Farm Rentals from CRE / (877) 266-7725
The beauty of rendering farms is the fact that many computers work on the same problem, a task at a time.
CRE has experience in creating a render farm using 8-core Mac Pro rentals or Xserve rentals, the backbone of some of the most capable render farms being used today.
We can assist you with our "render farm toolbox" which includes the high-performance graphics capabilities of the 8-core Mac Pro rental, an additional 16 gig of RAM and 23" Apple Cinema Display.

The 3rd party render managing software will allocate the frames to be rendered to the render nodes and continually disperse the frames until all frames are rendered.
Upon completion, the render nodes will sit idle until the render managing software sends it additional frames to be rendered.

Still of course the bandwidth of the machines on the network would still slow down the render some, but not as significantly as is if the file had to be uploaded to all the users at start-up of the render.
The server (client that wants to have a render done), would know the speed of the individual machines it had available due to specs like ram, free disk space and cpu speed and amount of cpus, that way it could easily distribute the amount they should all render.
