		Since renoise is tick based as far as timing goes, live is the perfect solution to work with off timing and to correct issues that arise from using trackers.

		Well, the annoyance is that I can't use Renoise with the 8 port turned off.

		renoise is great as an idea thing or to make seperate channels but its harder to keep the vision of a whole track as the arranger is a gay little bar on the left hand side.

		So, I've opt the idea to the fabulous people behind renoise to look into the possibility releasing a compilation cd featuring 'established' and unsigned renoise users for promotional sake with the upcoming release of renoise 1.8.
		The response I got from the main renoise developer is that they're looking into the idea of creating artist pages on the renoise website with a possibilty for a webrelease in the future.
		What is needed is names of 'established' artists using renoise in their releases, so they can be contacted if they're interested in having an artist page on the renoise site.

		The best solution for me would be simply to drag and drop the midi groove from EZDrummer into Renoise but unfortunately that doesn't work (is there any way to import midi notes into renoise?)
		In that case, you could simply load the MID files from the disk browser and, if you need to load more than one groove into a song, you could open two Renoise instances, load the MID files into one, copy the needed patterns, and paste them into the other instance.
		this is because Renoise cannot load MID files as patterns, but only as entire songs.

		i don't know about renoise, but most vst hosts allow you to automate all the parimeters on vstis, so read the instructions...
		renoise has nice automation and you can automate whatever you want in it.
