		Meetings of members elected from the precinct shall, for the purpose of determining such ties, be called and held as set forth in section seven.
		The town clerk shall notify the town meeting members of the time and place at which representative town meetings are to be held, the notices to be sent by mail at least seven days before the meeting.
		All town meetings shall be public; and, subject to such conditions as may be determined from time to time by the representative town meeting, any voter of the town who is not a town meeting member may speak at any representative town meeting, but he shall not vote.

	CHAPTER 88 OF THE ACTS OF 1999
		A town meeting member who is removed by a revision of precinct lines, may continue to serve as a town meeting member from the precinct from which he was elected until the next annual town election at which the remainder of his term, if any, shall be filled by a ballot.
		The town clerk shall maintain a journal of the proceedings of all town meetings and a copy thereof shall be kept at the office of said town clerk and at the Richard Memorial Public Library.
