Resident Evil 4 for NGC video game review and cheats   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-01)
In the first Resident Evil, you panicked because you weren't armed to deal with the situations thrown at you, and more often than not, had to flee the scene entirely.
However, in Resident Evil 4, you're armed to the gills; now it's just a matter of being able to cope with all the enemies that are thrown at you.
In past Resident Evil games, you felt fear because of the restrictions imposed on you, whether it was due to the unwieldy controls, the erratic viewpoint, or some of the more archaic gameplay mechanics.

UGO | the World of Gaming
Resident Evil 4 redefines "survival horror" with its impeccable presentation, stunning graphics, gruesome gameplay and intriguing storyline.
Fully-modeled, the enemies in Resident Evil 4 bend and sway as your bullets make contact, falling to their knees or stumbling backward - perhaps even losing their heads entirely - depending on the accuracy of your aim.
Everything in Resident Evil flows from its incredibly cinematic storyline and while there are no pre-rendered sequences in the game, the stunning graphics (perhaps the best of any console game, period) will hardly leave you wanting for a greater presentation.

 Resident Evil 4 - Ferrago
Resident Evil is about an impending attacker, about the struggle to survive, about entrapment and about horror - all of which again are facilitated by the controls.
Whatever you may or may not think of the controls, however, it's hard to deny that Resident Evil 4 is a magnificent title and probably the greatest in the series to date.
In another diversion from what we've grown to expect of the Resident Evil series, your assailants are instead disease ridden murderous villagers, driven to follow the desires of assorted treacherous vile sources.

Resident Evil 4 came out on January 11 for the GameCube and quickly swept up accolades from the press due to its complete redefinition of traditional Resident Evil gameplay.
RE4 PS2 producer Masachika Kawata notes, “The original Resident Evil 4 pushed the graphical limits of the GameCube and realized the hardware’s true potential.” So the most immediate concern that most gamers had with the announcement of the PS2 version of the game was how the graphics would be carried over.
RE4 on the GameCube sports a cinematic look with its use of letterboxing (in which fl bars are placed on the top and bottom of the screen), yet for those gamers lucky enough to play on a widescreen television, those fl bars are still irritatingly present.

 Arcade360 Review: "Resident Evil 4"
As Leon Kennedy, the rookie from the original "Resident Evil" (and now a special agent more Jack Bauer than James Bond), you navigate creepy villages, decrepit graveyards and one fantastically haunted lake, searching for a president's daughter.
"Resident Evil" purists might think this takes you out of the game, but they might have forgotten how monotonous the corridor skulking in games like "Resident Evil 2" really were.
Bottom Line: "Resident Evil 4" is such an absolute technical and artistic achievement that I wish it had been released a year ago, before many players opted to give up their GameCube systems (or bought an Xbox instead) for lack of a decent library of new games to play.
