	High-Resolution Album Art with Firmware / Zune Software 1.2 - Thoughts Media Forums
		You all know that the Zune has a habit of taking high-resolution album art embedded in files, downgrading it to an offensive 200 x 200 (or thereabouts), and then upscaling it to 240 x 240 to fit its QVGA display.
		The Zune was actually taking advantage of the 480 x 480 album art and scaling it appropriately (without the 200 x 200 intermediary) to 240 x 240 for its QVGA display.
		The only difference I see with Album Art on the 1.2 PC software is that the "Paste Album Art" feature (which writes images to both Folder.jpg and inside the music files) now auto-scales to 240 x 240, the maximum resolution for the Zune device, instead of 200 x 200.

		Llanas produced an extremely cathartic album under the guise of Absinthe, with lyrics tackling the suicide of his brother, and Neumann put out a solo album in 2000 (Shy Dog), but that's about it, aside from the occasional BoDeans tour, probably to keep the coffers filled.
		It seems odd that, in a musical climate where Ryan Adams and the Old '97s are shifting decent units, the BoDeans would choose to take a step away from the music that they've proven they can do so well and opt to release a record with such a mainstream sound.
		In the meantime, just enjoy Resolution for what it is -- a collection of solid BoDeans songs buried under overproduction -- and keep your fingers crossed that the album's last three tracks are a harbinger of what the next disc will sound like.

		I really enjoy seeing the album art for my CDs, but I found the 200 x 200 pixel low-resolution, overly compressed junk that Windows Media Player included by default to be completely inadequate.
		I also found the Microsoft method of placing the album art in the music folder to be very short-sighted.
		This process helped re-introduce me to my CD collection, reminding me of albums so bad I wonder why I purchased them, to albums that are so good I wonder why I stopped listening to them.
