Eliza Dushku (Faith) was going to appear in Buffy's bedroom telling her to "be back before Dawn," while David Boreanaz (Angel) was to have appeared in the desert as the voice of the First Slayer.

She probably saw it as a weakness, and Buffy relied on other people for help, that was unheard of for the first.

The fourth season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer is right in the middle of the series that ran seven seasons.
Buffy and Willow and Oz (Seth Green) all go to the local Sunnydale college while Xander (Nicholas Brendon) works odd jobs and continues to play the ‘odd man out’ of the cast.
I know this is a fantasy show about vampires and demons, but if they want to incorporate some kind of military presence, it could have been a little more realistic.

It was definitely nowhere near as good an episode as the one where Buffy kills Angel or the one where she nails Spike or heck pretty much any episode in which vampires get staked (like all of ‘em).
And let's face it, Buffy does bring on the teary eye fairly regulary, from Buffy killing Angel to her being named Class Protector, to her dive off the tower, to the Body, to Anya's post-Zander decline.
Vampire Willow interacting with plain old Willow (not that Willow is in any way plain) is so much fun, especially the licking.

The season six "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" episode that inspired this soundtrack is not to be missed--Buffy and the Scooby Gang sing and dance their way through Sunnydale, making for very compelling viewing.
Either Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon is brilliant or deranged; but it either case, his risky gamble on the season six episode "Once More, with Feeling" paid off brilliantly, even when using the entire cast's actual voices for the show.
I love that episode, I watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer the complete sixth season episode about fifty times or so, you can like, listen to it on the go, you feel like you are watching the show.
