United Kingdom general election, 2005 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The United Kingdom general election of 2005 was held on Thursday, 5 May 2005 and won by the Labour Party, led by Tony Blair.
Other elections in the province have shown both a shift in votes towards the DUP but also a collapse of support for the cross-community Alliance Party which is likely to be more marked in a first past the post election and thus which may work in the UUP's favour.
The results were interpreted by the UK media as an indicator of a breakdown in trust in the government, and in the Prime Minister, Tony Blair, in particular.

I begin with "Election results" (or possibly even simply "Elections" to reduce length) because that's the most important term in all this class of articles, and the chance of ambiguity with other subjects is less likely.
Starting with "Election results" would be best because it is the most important element; starting with anything else could be confused with other developments in that same country or other developments in a certain year.
If we are only adding material that pertains to outcomes of elections, I would prefer "Election results." If someone can think of other "data" we might add, it might be nice to use "Election data" and add the word "results" later on to disambiguate it from other forms of election data.

In 2004, the Government passed the Scottish Parliament (Constituencies) Act 2004 which instituted these changes and broke the link between British- and Scottish-Parliamentary constituencies.
In this context, the new, reduced Labour majority of 67, (as it was before the declaration of South Staffordshire), was viewed by many across the political spectrum as a positive development, a counter to an alleged presidential style of government.
