Welcome to Buckingham's Retinue, one of the more authentic re-enactment groups for the period 1450-1500.
Our society is a non profit orgainsation that exists to reconstruct and re-enact late medieval life, recreating the period known as 'The Wars of the Roses'.

 The Erpyngham Retinue Bringing History to Life
The Erpyngham Retinue, based in London, are Historical Interpreters and Consultants, we give demonstrations of life in the late 14th and early 15th Century (circa 1380-1420) throughout the country.
We are available for educational lectures at schools and other locations, providing through our sister company, The Knights Resources film extras (both foreground and background) and also catering for all types of private functions with entertainment inside for your guests if required.
We establish an authentic backdrop, the campaign campsite of Sir Thomas Erpyngham K.G. Sir Thomas, sited in William Shakespeare’s plays "Henry IV" and "Henry V", was part of the King Henry V's retinue at the “Battle of Azincourt” on the 25th October 1415.

A small undead retinue created to accompany my vampiresse.
The retinue is executed in an army-painting style that used both drybrushing and more delicate painting for selected details such as the gold areas which are a glazed with Tamiya Clear Orange.
Central for the retinue is the strong colour palette of Gold, Red, Black and White.
