After the fall of the German Wall in 1989 the reunified Harz region is well on the way to becoming a "paradise" again - as Heinrich von Kleist once described it.
Goslar lies at the northern edge of the Harz Mountains, Northern Germany.

 Nathans 2005 Hot Dog Contest
On July 4, 2005, the eyes of the world will focus on Coney Island for what is believed to be the 90th installment of the Nathan's Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog-Eating Contest.
By winning this contest, Devito reunified the world hot dog eating titles (an accomplishment similar to Mike Tyson's reunification of the world's boxing titles in 1987).
In coming weeks, the finest eaters in the world will fight for one of 20 spots in the most celebrated sporting event of the year.

Charlie remained a member of Healy’s organisation throughout the period when the Fourth International split in 1953 in a confused debate over Stalinism and the role of mass Communist Parties: but he broke with Healy when he refused to re-join the reunified organisation in 1963.
Charlie stayed in the RCP for a time, but then Jock Haston proposed that the RCP dissolve and go in with Healy, which is what happened.
Ted Grant was the Political Secretary and Jock Haston was the General Secretary.
