		Though it was conceived as a mere cash-in for the long-awaited return of the original Black Sabbath, 1998's Reunion is as close to an official live album as the band has had in their historic 30-year career.
		With this in mind, the band must be commended on the excellent quality of the recordings, which include their most enduring classics ("War Pigs," "Paranoid," "Iron Man"), as well as a few surprises ("Dirty Women," "Behind the Wall of Sleep"), and were culled from a series of concerts in their native Birmingham in December 1997.
		The real key to this album, however, is the band's ability to avoid the most common pitfall of live recordings: speeding up the songs.

		There were a total of 134 people at the reunion, including 89 alumni and 5 former teachers.
		The teachers in attendance said they were proud, shocked, and thrilled to see such an incredible turnout.

	Reunion by Hollies CD
		Basically the same as the Archive Alive CD released in 1996, this includes the missing tracks from the What Goes Around album; Casualty and Someone Else's Eyes, which were available only on a bootleg version.
		This CD chronicles Graham Nash's brief reunion with the group in the fall of 1983, when the did a tour of the US with a minor hit, Stop in the Name of Love.
		The performance is first rate and it is fascinating to hear Graham Nash sing harmony on songs recorded after he left the Hollies, and for the Hollies to perform songs by CS&N. A great live album from a very underrated group.
