The programme of the PSR was in the democratic socialist mold and garnered much support amongst Russia's rural peasantry who in particular supported their programme of land-socialisation as opposed to the Bolshevik programme of land-nationalisation.
Their policy platform differed from that of the Social Democrats — both Bolshevik and Menshevik — in that it was not Marxist; the SRs believed that the peasantry, not the industrial proletariat, would be the revolutionary class in Russia.

A Mefi thread from yesterday contained the quote "We are skinheads, and we are revolutionaries." That got me thinking...
Bill Gates and people like him, who have a social conscience and realize that government, any government, does not have the will to take the earth society to the next level.
Although I don't agreee with them on most issues, they are positive social revolutionaries in one aspect: providing psychological support to people victimized by the current practice of trading in a spouse for a more convenient, newer model.
