Revolver's competing magazines in the heavy metal magazine world are Hit Parader and Circus.
I have bought all three of these magazines several times, and Revolver my final judgement is Revolver is the only magazine that is good enough to subscribe to.
Revolver still has plenty of great pictures, but it is also much longer and much better written than Circus.

Revolver Magazine described it as “A metalcore classic.” Ozzfest called and in the summer of 2004 Darkest Hour joined Lamb of God, Slipknot and many others on the second stage.
