	Rez - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Rez is an on-rails shooter similar to Panzer Dragoon, with the player portrayed as an onscreen avatar travelling along a predetermined path through the levels.
		In Rez, the number of player lives is expressed through player forms; players can gain increments to their evolution bar, and every 8 increments results in the player upgrading to a higher form, while getting hit by an enemy downgrades the player to a lower form.
		This sliding scale of difficulty was employed by Sega to keep Rez enjoyable for those who played the game with a light hearted mindset, and to keep the game difficult for those who were more adept at the game.

		Rez also has several different modes that are unlocked when initially defeating a level including a Score Attack mode, where the object is to get a high score, a Traveling mode, where you can’t die and can just experience the game for itself.
		Rez is a cool throwback with sleek vector line wire-frames, simple polygonal objects, bright flashing colors, and general abstract geometric feel that give it a distinctive and quite beautiful style.
		Rez takes a definite abstract look throughout and the look might be a bit shocking, especially if you’re used to today’s realistic games, but older gamers and fans of the era should definitely eat it up.

		It seems we are in the space age and I have a hunch that Rez, in development by UGA (United Game Artists; a Sega subsidiary) is the multi-medium and that PS2 is the space age console.
		Rez previously known as Project K was debuted at E3 2001, hidden in the corner of the invitation only Sega booth moving on a 20 inch screen in video form, replaying a 2 minute loop perpetually.
