Rhythmbox was included on my Fedora install CDs, so I thought I would give it another chance.
CPU usage, whether due to a newer version of Rhythmbox or due to upgrading to Fedora, now never exceeds 3%, and is usually much lower.
One great sign for the future of Rhythmbox is that lots of new development work is ongoing and there are a lot of contributors.

Rhythmbox is comparable to Apple's iTunes in that it concentrates on organizing your music collection and making it easier to navigate through it.
Rhythmbox was able to correctly parse all of my files in less than 2 minutes, so something right must be going on underneath the hood.
The good news is that Rhythmbox is being actively developed and maintained by Colin Walters and others.

If we used such a non-reciprocal license for Rhythmbox, the risk would increase that our users would be faced with proprietary versions of Rhythmbox being distributed by different vendors, leading to important functionality not being returned to the community which spawned the original version.
The licensor of Rhythmbox understanding of the GPL is that only derivative works as per copyright law are subject to the reciprocity obligation, mere aggregation do not cause the GPL to be invoked even if those mere aggregations are distributed in one unit (i.e.
So in the opinion of the licenser of Rhythmbox, the software library frameworks which upon Rhythmbox is built, are not derivative works of Rhythmbox and as such the GPL's demands for reciprocity do not extend to them.

The third argument is the mount point for the device, and the last argument is where to write the database file.
Given the path to a rhythmbox database file and the mount point of the device, it will convert the rhythmbox database and then try to convert all rhythmbox playlists, placing them in a directory called "playlists" on the root of the device.
