	Richard Coad - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Richard Coad (13 February 1825-1 November 1900) was a 19th century English architect.
		Born in Liskeard, Cornwall, he served as assistant to George Gilbert Scott and worked under Scott's supervision on improvements to Lanhydrock House near Bodmin in 1857.
		When the building was severely damaged by fire in 1881, Coad returned to the site to rebuild the house to accommodate the 2nd Baron Robartes's large family.

	Lanhydrock House - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		In 1620, wealthy merchant Sir Richard Robartes acquired the estate and began building Lanhydrock House, designed to a four-sided layout around a central courtyard, and constructed of grey granite.
		The second Lord Robartes (later the 6th Viscount Clifden) rebuilt the house to meet the needs of his large family, appointing local architect Richard Coad to design and supervise most of the work, Coad having worked as assistant to George Gilbert Scott on earlier work (1857) at Lanhydrock.
		In 1953, the house and approximately 400 acres (1.6 km²) of parkland were given to the National Trust by the 7th Viscount Clifden.

		Authorities said Hoover, Richard Coad, 52, and Dianne Dobozynski, 52, took part in a check-cashing scheme last year that drained $208,609 from the checking account of Carriage House at Pocono Manor, a resort in Pocono Township.
		Coad was head of the Carriage House maintenance department, Hoover was a maintenance employee and Dobozynski was the resort's general manager.
		The checks were supposedly issued to pay resort expenses, but police say the money ended up in the pockets of the defendants.
