From 1994 to 1996, Goldstone served as the chief prosecutor of the United Nations International War Crimes Tribunals for the former Yugoslavia and Rwanda.

Goldstone is a type of glass made with copper or copper salts in the presence of a reducing flame.
Some goldstone variants have an intensely-colored glass matrix-- usually blue or violet, more rarely green-- and a more silvery appearance to the suspended crystals, whose color may be partially masked by the glass or which may be based on different metals than copper (perhaps cobalt, manganese, or chromium).
Curiously, goldstone is one of the few cases where a synthetic simulant provided the eponymy for the similar natural stone.

Justice Goldstone, what would we do if there wasn't an international panel, and in fact, if any of my reporting bears out, it seems to be very low on the priority scale at the moment for the Bush administration, which is much more interested in a federal court case, or possibly a military tribunal.
