Sacket is survived by her four daughters, Wendy Sacket of Irvine, Lauri Diel of Alamogordo, N.M., Jill Sacket of San Diego and Stefanie Sacket-Mowers of Foothill Ranch; her sister, Gail Zoelzer of Indiana; and six grandchildren.

 Richard Irvine Manning
MANNING, Richard Irvine, governor of South Carolina, born in Clarendon county, South Carolina, 1 May, 1789; died in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 1 May, 1886.
He was a son of Lieutenant Lawrence Manning, who served in the Revolutionary army, at first in the regiment that was known as "Congress's own," and afterward in the corps of "Light-horse Harry" Lee.
He was subsequently defeated as a Union candidate for congress, but in 1834 was elected as a Union Democrat and served till his death.

The town of Manning, which is the county seat, received its charter January 28, 1861, by an act of the legislature, and was rechartered by the Secretary of State March 15, 1904.
Just after the re-establishment of Clarendon County in 1855, Captain Joseph C. Burgess was selected to determine the geographical center of the county so that a courthouse village could be built.
Some of the most prominent names in Clarendon County today such as Cantey, DuBose, Gaillard, Des Champs, Richbourg, Lesesne, McFaddin, Guerry, Millette, Sprott and Mouzon have their origins with the early settlers who came up the Santee River from coastal area in the 1700's with land grants.
