		Masur studied acting a New York University and appeared on stage before acting in movies during the 1970s.
		Masur's more notable roles include movies such as Who'll Stop the Rain (1974), Risky Business (1983), Under Fire (1983), The Mean Season (1985), Heartburn (1986), Rent-a-Cop (1988), Shoot to Kill (1988), License to Drive (1988), Flashback (1990), and My Girl (1991).
