Shepherd is currently principal investigator on an ESRC-funded project on ' Attitudes to Genomics', on a project on risk communication funded as part of the Rural Economy and Land Use Programme (RELU-RISK) and on a project on public attitudes towards the governance of biomedical research funded by the Wellcome Trust.
Richard Shepherd is Co-director (along with Dr Monique Raats) of the Food, Consumer Behaviour and Health Research Centre.
