		Richmond is the 6th largest city in Kentucky and the county seat of Madison County.
		The age distribution, influenced strongly by the presence of Eastern Kentucky University, is: 17.5% under the age of 18, 31.7% from 18 to 24, 27.5% from 25 to 44, 13.8% from 45 to 64, and 9.5% who were 65 years of age or older.
		Richmond has, in the past, been denoted as one of the top ten party towns in the nation.
