  Rick's Cafe Americain
Cornell appeared to have plenty of chances to score, but one of the top goalies in the country made save after spectacular sounding save and held the Red to one goal.
As part of their rant, one of the guys called out “Even the Cornell broadcaster is laughing!” Apparently Adam yelled back “I’m laughing at you.” Of course Meetch got the last laugh; he scored the game winning goal 45 seconds after getting out of the penalty box.
They referred to a conspiracy to send calls Cornell’s way so often, I was tempted to send them tinfoil hats so they could rest easy, knowing that the ECAC Commissioner would not be sending messages to their brains.

Cornell saves the surprises for the encores, via an acoustic version of Soundgarden's 'Like Suicide' and a smouldering take on Temple Of The Dog's 'All Night Thing', which hasn't reverberated off the inside of a concert hall in nine years.
Cornell, the former Soundgarden singer, seemed thoroughly pleased to be in a theater instead of a sports arena, playing to a fairly small group of attentive fans instead of a big, rowdy rock crowd.
Cornell was flanked by his main collaborators on that album, the keyboard player Natasha Shneider and the guitarist Alain Johannes.

Geurinot says Cornell's been writing certain parts on guitar but it remains to be seen if he'll actually be the band's second guitarist, as he was in Soundgarden, or simply write on his six string and leave all the live stuff to Morello.

Rick Rubin is just about the biggest name in the history rock music production so there was little doubt that this was going to be a tight sounding album.
I’d venture to guess that Rick’s real job was to stay out of the way and let Audioslave do their thing, and give his feedback when asked for, but otherwise, let this team of multi-platinum rockers work their magic.

Uncovering structure of cellular switch could aid design of cancer-fighting drugs
The structure of the protein complex was mapped at MacCHESS, Cornell's high-energy synchrotron source, where the scientific technique called X-ray crystallography reveals the three-dimensional arrangement of atoms in molecules by bombarding them with intense bursts of X-rays.
The Cornell biochemists believe that, given the essential function of Cdc42 in Ras-induced malignant transformation, it should be possible to block signals that lead to cancer by modulating Cdc42 activity.
However, Cornell University is one of the few institutions in the world with the scientific capability to move a discovery from the basic-biology stage to the determination of molecular structure, the design of drugs and finally to clinical trials, observes Douglas D. McGregor, associate dean for research in the College of Veterinary Medicine.
