The City Commission voted 4-0 Monday to rename Amarillo International Airport for the Amarillo native, who died along with six other crew members Feb. 1 when the shuttle broke up during re-entry over Texas.
The resolution adopted by commissioners says the airport now will be named Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport.
