Ricky Stuart - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Stuart played nine Rugby League Test matches for Australia from 1990, touring with the Australian side to Great Britain and France in 1990 and 1994.
After much speculation, it was announced in September 2006 that Stuart had taken over the Cronulla Sharks coaching role with a two year contract starting in 2007.
In 2006 Stuart was appointed as coach of Australian national rugby league team, replacing Wayne Bennett after Australia's loss in the 2005 Tri-Nations final to New Zealand.

Stuart was also unhappy with decisions where the referee failed to award penalty tries to Eric Grothe and Fittler.
Last year Stuart was fined $10,000 for a similar outburst against a referee and later went on to combine with Fittler to lead the Roosters to their first premiership in 27 years.
Stuart's substantiated claim on those Bulldogs penalties is completely irrelevant because some club has to lead in any given statistical area of the game and chances are the majority of those penalties can be justified under the rules.
