  Right-wing - Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia
Everyone knows that everything Right is right (as opposed to the Left-wing sect which believes everything, including themselves, are wrong, or, on some occasions, left). There is no dispute in this matter, and when there is, it generally involves a lot of slobbering and excessive phlegm on the part of the one who is wrong.
The Right Wing supports freedom of religion, as long as the worship of the Semitic air god Yahweh, the executed Rabbi-rabble-rouser Yeshvah and their silent partner the Holy Ghost are all involved.
The Right are strict constructionists when it comes to the Bill of Rights, meaning that they re-construct the Bill of Rights to serve their ends.

Right Wing and the Court - SaveTheCourt.org
After having handed President Bush one of the most stinging defeats and public humiliations of his presidency, the Right demanded that he return with a nominee who possessed 'impeccable' Right Wing credentials, a long paper trail to prove it, and whose nomination would be sure to start a fight.
The Right's win-at-all-costs advocacy disguised as “defense “ now routinely includes slanderous attempts to intimidate Senate Democrats and their political allies by trying to paint opposition to the nominee — or even questions about his views on the right to privacy — as being rooted in anti-Catholic or anti-Christian bigotry.
Right Wing groups and columnists are making it clear that nominating of any sort of "consensus" candidate is completely unacceptable.

Right-wing politics - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The dominant modern strand of right wing thought is concerned with traditional values (often Christian in nature) and preservation of individual and corporate rights through constraints on government power.
In a hard-line form the second and third of these priorities are associated with libertarianism, but some on the right reject the most ardent assumptions of libertarianism, especially outside of the United States, and a small minority of libertarians do not consider themselves to be right wing.
A more obscure strand of right wing thought, often associated with the original right wing from the times of monarchy, supports the preservation of wealth and power in the hands that have traditionally held them, social stability, and national solidarity and ambition.

 Bambooweb: Right-wing
Tradition, the means of preserving wealth, social stability, and national solidarity and ambition are among the concerns typically associated with the right wing of the political spectrum; against systemic restructure, labor and social concern, cultural diversity and internationalism, commonly associated with the left.
Those on the right are sometimes called "reactionary" by their opponents, a term that first arose to refer to those whose politics was formed in reaction against the French Revolution.
In the United States, many groups seen to be right wing support the use of military measures against terrorist organizations and terror supporting states.

People For the American Way - Right Wing Organizations
For over 25 years, People For the American Way Foundation (PFAWF) has countered the Right Wing’s efforts to roll back, or stop, social justice progress and to reshape government and society to its liking.
At any given moment, the Right is at work in our public school systems, courthouses, in Congress and state assemblies.
At the same time, right-wing groups are reaching huge audiences through media outlets they own or influence—promoting regressive policies that seek to drive wedges between and among Americans.

But the watershed moment came in 1994, when the group mobilized around a federal educational funding reappropriation act in Congress that contained a clause which the HSLDA claimed could require that all homeschool parents be certified teachers a significant threat to the whole idea of homeschooling.
Amanda's rhetoric is no doubt bolstered by her participation on a debate team, and by her summer reading list (based in part on the Generation Joshua curriculum), which includes George Washington, William Blackstone, John Locke, and the Bible.
The Supreme Court, he points out, has said that the idea of parental rights is founded on "the traditional role of the family." By challenging the definition of a family, he continues, "same-sex marriage is a direct attack on the most important basis of homeschooling freedoms."

And with the advent of the internet, where their most outrageous conspiracy theories are given the patina of respectability, they have been able to capture the dim witted, the ignorant, and especially the young who have grown up without the benefit of learning how to think critically and rationally about the world around them.
The conspiracy theory today is usually a way to cast the darkest aspersions upon the government in general and certain officers of the government in particular.
Michelle Malkin has it about right; “The fringe is now mainstream.” And it is frightening to consider the idea that if this is so, what other kind of conspiracy theories can gain traction and eventually cause some real mischief.

Right Wing Watch: Right Wing Archives
In contrast to the various high-profile right-wing leaders threatening to bolt the Republican Party should Rudy Giuliani win the presidential nomination, there are a few unlikely voices calling for pragmatism in order to achieve the ultimate goal: control of the Supreme Court and the overturning of Roe vs. Wade.
Back in April, Bill Donohue of all people urged others on the Right not to over-react to the possibility of Giuliani winning the nomination, saying that the pro-life movement would only hurt its own cause by sacrificing the chance to get more “strict constructionists" on the Supreme Court for the sake of their principles.
It is becoming increasingly clear that the one thing the Right fears more than Giuliani winning the GOP nomination is Giuliani winning the nomination and then winning the general election without their support, which would weaken their influence and power within the party.

Consequently, fascism and communism share much in common, and this is to be expected since they are the most extreme forms of conservatism, fascism being of the right, and communism being of the left.

Vinod's Blog:What Do You Mean By Right Wing?
Right Wingers in the United States are not to be confused with right wingers in Europe who are basically defined as whoever the "elites" in Europe don't support.
The conventional definition of a right winger in Europe currently tends to paint people who are nationalistic, "anti-immigrant", and anti-UN as right wing.
Many lay Left commentators have a hard time grok-ing that the right wing does actually subscribe to an intellectually coherent set of ideals.

Adbusters : The Magazine - #65 TORTURE - Where do you draw the line? / Is Right-Wing America Becoming Fascist?
One of the abiding misconceptions about fascism on both right and left sides of the political aisle is the notion that it can be reduced to a core set of ideological principles, much like communism or anarchism.
The article does bring up an interesting point in describing the right as being extremist and there is certainly strong evidence for such accusations especially when a country is supposed to be founded on balance.
Concepts of right and wrong already presuppose criteria for making that distinction, and such criteria always establish a law or principle to which we must abide if we are to securely place ourselves in the right.

The Bill of Rights serves as a perfect guise for his true aim: to pressure state-funded colleges and universities to pack their faculties with conservative professors.

Now that word is out that the AARP is a bunch of Army hating fags, surely someone should point out that the president felt pretty damn good about the man-kisser in chief not long ago when Bill Novelli was invited to participate in the Medicare bill signing ceremony and getting appointed to a presiential commission.

In particular, it explains how the Right exploits single issues and manipulates religious faith to direct workers into voting for candidates who are a threat to their economic interests.

In peaceful Sweden, neo-Nazis in 1999 murdered two police officers, assassinated a labour union activist, bombed a journalist and his son in their car and, in 1998, Nazis also sent a letter-bomb to the Swedish Minister of Justice.
This shift in targets of hatred and violence from the extreme right towards representatives of the government and the political establishment was a trend that had been noticeable for years to observers following the ideological writings and behaviour of the far-right scene.
These ideas gained increasing popularity not only among parts of the American far right, but were also increasingly adopted by neo-Nazis and other racial revolutionary groups in Europe.

Many of the critics found the resolution of the play unsatisfying, and it certainly isn’t neat in terms of all the loose ends being tied up and thrown away, but that’s one of the key themes of the show, surely: Times change, and go on a-changin’, and in that sense they never change.
