Rima - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Rima the Jungle Girl, is a fictional character, a white-haired superhero who starred in the short-lived comic book series Rima the Jungle Girl published by DC Comics in 1974-75 and subsequently made several appearances on the popular Saturday morning cartoon The All-New Super Friends Hour in 1977-78.
Though Rima herself is an all-but-forgotten superhero character, the 7-issue run of her monthly series is of historical significance, at least within the world of comics fandom, in part because it features truly exquisite (and rarely-glimpsed) interior artwork by the great Filipino illustrator Nestor Redondo and stunning covers by comics legend Joe Kubert.
Rima the Jungle Girl is also noteworthy as one of DC's first major publishing efforts to feature a woman hero (other than Wonder Woman) as the titular star of her own book.

Ottava rima - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Sicilian octave is derived from the medieval strambotto and was a crucial step in the development of the sonnet, whereas the ottava rima is related to the canzone, a stanza form.
Boccaccio used ottava rima for a number of minor poems and, most significantly, for two of his major works, the Teseide (1340) and the Filostrato (1347).
For instance, ottava rima was used by Poliziano and by Boiardo in his 1486 masterpiece Orlando Innamorato.

Rethinking the Successful Church - 9Marks
Samuel Rima calls for a redefinition of success, especially as the word is used in reference to the church.
Rima spent much of his life as a church planter in southern California, where he developed an “obsession” (his word, p.19) with church growth methodologies and techniques.
Rima seems to think that the church growth movement is a positive good, except for an under-emphasis on the sovereignty of God.

Among the instruments in his collection are Colombian, Peruvian, and Paraguayan harps; the four-stringed bandola (a relative of the mandolin), cuatro, and capachos (small maracas) of música llanera; and a Hohner button accordion and other instruments associated with Colombian vallenato music.

Poetry Knowledge Zone - Class 9 : Terza Rima
TERZA RIMA, or "third rhyme," is a form of verse adapted from the Italian poets of the 13th century.
The serventese in-catenato of the latter was an arrangement of triple rhymes, and unquestionably appears to have a relation with terza rima; this connection becomes almost a certainty when we consider the admiration expressed by the Tuscan poets of the i3th century for the metrical inventions of their forerunners, the Provencals.
There is no fixed length to a terza rima but they are generally used to tell a story of epic proportions and hence normally easily run over 100 lines.

Terza rima is typically written in an iambic line, and in English, most often in iambic pentameter.
Fourteenth-century English poet Geoffrey Chaucer introduced terza rima to England with his poem "Complaints to his Lady," while Thomas Wyatt is credited, with popularizing its use in the English language through his translations and original works.
Those who have written in terza rima usually employ near and slant rhymes, as the English language, though syntactically quite versatile, is rhyme poor.

Because this rhyme scheme could propagate itself forever, a terza rima poem typically ends with a stanza of only one line, which rhymes with the middle line of the second to last stanza.
Dante’s use of terza rima underscores the intricate connections among story, form, and theme in Inferno, an unprecedented and unmatched unity of parts that is probably Dante’s greatest poetic achievement.
Terza rima also serves to link the poem’s smaller formal structure to its larger geometry, for the three-line stanzas mirror the three-pronged nature of the entire Divine Comedy, which comprises Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradiso.
