		Ringmer Green was the meeting point for local farm labourers in 1831, 150 of them met Lord Gage from nearby Firle to complain of mistreatment by his overseer, he sacked the overseer and gave the workers a pay rise.

	Essay or Coursework - Does Ringmer need a bypass?
		From the data I collected I have found that more people In Ringmer do want to have a bypass put in, however the landowners are not to happy about it, they do not want their land ruined by the bypass and they aren't prepared to sell their land.
		I have found that early in the mornings, during the week the traffic is very bad, high levels of cars come through and cause jams, they occur in rush hour, when people are doing the school run and are going to work.
		In my personal opinion I think that Ringmer does need or at least is going to need a bypass installed soon because the amount of traffic is very high during the week.

		Ringmer could of scored an immediate equaliser when the Epsom and Ewell defence fell asleep and allowed the Ringmer player to have a run at Epsom and Ewell's goal but the Ringmer player when it looked easier to score somehow managed to hit the top of the bar with Dave Copeman committed into coming out.

		REPORT: This formation, only the third to be reported in the UK this year, is south of the B2192 road from Lewes to Ringmer, near Malling Down, in the same field as a small pictogram in wheat last year.
		It can be seen from the road by alert drivers, though it is not immediately obvious, and appears to sit between two pylons.
