Ritchie Kotschau (born November 22, 1975 in Levittown, New York) is an American soccer player, who currently plays defender for the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer.
Midway through 2001, Kotschau was part of the deal that sent Carlos Valderrama to the Colorado Rapids.
Kotschau earned his first cap for the United States national team on March 9, 2005, against Colombia.

Kotschau registered his only assist of the 2004 season in the 37th minute of the Rapids’ 2-1 win in Columbus on June 26.
Entering his eighth MLS season, Kotschau is one of just three current Rapids to have won the MLS Cup, having done so as a rookie with Chicago in 1998.
