A 21-year-old Menlo Park man was found stabbed to death and his wife seriously injured August 8 after the two apparently got in a fight with each other, police said.
Police found Jose Ernesto Arita and his wife, Blanca Estella Rivas, 23, in their Hamilton Avenue home around 6:30 p.m., said Sgt. Matt Bacon of the Menlo Park Police Department.
Rivas, who had also been stabbed, was taken to a local hospital, he said.

The crisis temporarily worsened on June 25, when Costa Rica halted the issuance of border passes that allow Nicaraguans living in San Juan and Rivas departments to enter the country.
