The River Noe is a river, and a tributary of the River Derwent in Derbyshire, England.
The entire length of the river is closely followed by the Manchester to Sheffield railway line.
The Hope Valley is the name given to the portion of the river below Hope, along with the valley of the River Noe’s main tributary, Peakshole Water.

The bottom of the river is a bit on the silty side, its a bit on the shallow side and the proximity of the footpath means you are never short of a wisecrack or two.
