I was just recently surfing the net and saw a sad sight to Riverside, someone posted a pic of Riverside during the transformation from racetrack to mall and it has just brought a tear to my eye seeing something like this die like that.

Over a year since his last victory, and coming close to ending his first season since 1982 without a win, Ricky Rudd was able to keep his streak alive, winning at Phoenix International Raceway in the next to last race of the 1995 season.
Rudd's cooling system went out only five laps into the 500-lap race, but rather than turn the car over to a relief driver, he persevered for the win, extending his consecutive season winning streak at 16, beating the modern era record set by Dale Earnhardt.
